For those who are interested in learning more about some of the most appreciated varieties, there are many resources that can be consulted and one of them is a simple Windows Phone application that is suggestively called Flowers.
Uncomplicated GUI, with all the details shown in sequence
The utility has a very simple interface, with little care for visual appeal and more focused on the content than its organization. The main screen is almost completely black and empty, with a single button inside, the one that starts the navigation through the various entries in the database.
The flower images are large and cover most of the screen, but they seem to have been forced to fit some strict size requirements and thus have an odd look. Also, their quality is not the highest in some cases.

Flowers provides a special way of going through the content it hosts and it is not the easiest method of getting about. More precisely, there is no way of selecting a certain flower and check out the photo and info about it. Instead, you will have to move through every listing until you reach the one you are interested in.
The navigation goes both ways, so you can return to the previous listing, but this procedure is really bothersome, as you cannot skip any text or photo screen and you have retrace every step, so having only 10 entries is an unexpected advantage from this perspective.
The information is general for the most part, yet accurate and there are quite a few interesting facts to be discovered with regard to some of the flowers included in this collection.
