One of the more recent additions to this category is Flipagram and it allows Windows Phone users to create short video clips made up of their personal pictures and a custom audio stream, among other things.
Clean GUI, with a friendly layout
The application brings you a tidy front-end, where all the functions and commands are easy to access. Inside the interface all the graphical elements are designed with care and have a pleasant feel.
The workspace has a generous size, with plenty of space for the preview, while the navigation through the various sections of Flipagram is seamless, without any delays or glitches of any sort.
Add as many images as you want and edit them on the spot
This utility needs at least 2 pictures to make the short clip and it enables you to pick the photos by hand, from the collection stored inside your Facebook and Instagram accounts or locally, onto your phone.
The order in which the images will be shown is customizable and with Flipagram you can also select the portion that will be used from a larger photo, rotate the pic or duplicate it. The image format options you can select are "crop to fill" and "fit in frame", so with either of these selected your job becomes easier.
Detailed customization of each new Flipagram
The application will allow you to add to the video some music stored onto your phone and you can even record a description for each image. On the downside, the built-in feature for finding music online is not working properly and while the images switch there are some noticeable pauses in the playback.
Choosing the appropriate timing for having each pic on display can be done manually or automatically, as this app offers two buttons for selecting automatically the default video duration for Flipagram and Instragram.
The is another modification you can make before saving the project, more precisely giving a title to the clip and this involves choosing the desired font as well as the color. In the "Watermark" section you cannot make any adjustments as the settings are locked until a purchase is made.
