Customizing the images captured with the on-board camera of a mobile device is an activity quite frequently carried out by many users, as there are plenty of dedicated utilities that can be used for such tasks.

For anyone looking to find a tool that offers a comprehensive collection of filters that can be added onto the digital images, Easy Image Effects might actually be the right choice.

Nice interface, with a convenient layout

The looks of this application are quite appealing, mainly thanks to the beautiful background displayed inside the GUI. The graphics are decent, while the controls are kept at hand and easy to reach.

The utility is only displayed in landscape mode, but this is not quite a disadvantage because there is more room for the workspace and the effects fit better inside the main screen

The visible nuisance that comes from the animated advertisements shown in the lower side of the screen can be removed, but only after making a payment.

Go through the effects and add the ones you like

Easy Image Effects offers you a lot of filters to choose from and the long list shown in the right side of the screen contains the thumbnail previews of each of them applied to the currently loaded image.

If you tap once on an effect, it will be applied onto the pic and is appear highlighted in the list, while with a second tap you can remove it from the photo. To remove all the modifications, you have at your disposal a "Clear" button right under the list of filters.

Apply and configure multiple or random effects

The app makes it possible for you to make some adjustments to some filters and fine-tune their intensity or other parameters by tapping the "Options" button when it is available. If you want to have some fun, the application has a special button that when pressed applies random filters.

Another neat ability of Easy Image Effects is the slideshow feature that can take you through all the listed filters, so you can check them out each in turn, without having to do the navigating manually. The slideshow timer can be set anywhere between 3 and 15 seconds.

A great addition to the feature set is the multi-effects mode that you can use to apply several effects, one on top of the other. Also, if you activate it from the "Settings" menu, the original image can be shown in the upper left corner, so you will have the reference pic before you at all times.
