Numerous users like to keep tabs on the upcoming holidays, birthdays of their friends and family members, as well as on all sorts of events that they want to attend. For Windows Phone users there are a few utilities one can try and Days To Go is one of them.

Tailored particularly for counting days to and from any event you might want to follow, this application does its job in a simple (and colorful) manner.

Friendly and easy to use front-end

This app has a fairly simple GUI that offers an overview of the events listed inside, but the visuals are not too appealing, despite the varied choice in colors provided when adding new entries. The layout is, nonetheless, very well organized and offers a chronological perspective of the passed and upcoming events.

The details area contains a large tile inside which the information for that specific event are displayed on a solid color background. Moving through the list of items that is shown in the main screen is smooth and without any delays or other glitches.

Create events, edit and pin them on the go

Days To Go comes with three items added by default and you can use them as examples to make new entries of your own. Each event can be customized to display the number of days that are left until it comes to happen. Alternatively, you can easily have the days count from the time that event passed.

Besides the event name and date customizations you have the possibility to choose the tile color that you feel is best appropriate. The selection in this respect is somewhat limited because there are only 10 colors you can pick from.

To have all the events close at hand, Days To Go enables you to pin each entry from the database to the Start screen of your phone.
