Optionally, the utility enables you to specify a salt value of minimum 8 characters to help in randomizing the cryptographic key and thus reduce the risk of having the message deciphered.

Crypto SMS offers some basic information related to the write content that can prove useful for some users. More precisely, under the "Input" area you can view an exact count for the number of characters you wrote up to that point.
In a similar manner, below the "Output" box you have besides the total amount of letters, numbers and symbols used for encryption an estimation regarding the number of SMS messages needed to send all that content.
