The appearance of this app is pretty well designed, with pleasant graphics and colors. The easy to use interface makes it possible to access all the ringtones in a simple manner, thanks to the smart structure of the content.
Navigating through the various sections and lists of sounds is done less smoothly because of the delays in loading the next set of ringtones when browsing the list of items hosted inside the app.
Less appealing are the advertisements that appear in most areas of the app and the irritating prompts to rate the utility that will pop up occasionally after you launch the application a couple of times.
When you try to exit Cool Ringtone Pro another prompt will appear, this time offering you the "opportunity" to try out a third-party app.
Look for the desired ringtones on the go
The utility offers a good selection of popular sounds, so you can make some quick picks just by going through the "Top Ringtones" section.
Operating the application is a simple job, with the search function very easy to use and able to provide a good set of results, when it manages to find anything to match the keywords you specified.
The results are displayed promptly and you have the possibility to play the audio tracks right from the list of results. The "Make Ringtones" module is not operational for some reason, perhaps this having something to do with the trial mode the app runs in.
Play ringtones and transfer them with one tap
Each file is downloaded and played when you click the corresponding button from the ones that are assigned to each entry. The ringtone search button, however, will let you know as soon as you press it that you will have to look for another application to use for searching the respective ringtone.
When you want to save a certain sound, press the dedicated button and it will be added immediately to the "Downloaded" area of the app. From there, you can play it, save it locally onto your phone and set it as the default ringtone.
Transferring the items from the "My Download" onto the phone's storage is possible, but not in the trial version, so the feature requires a payment to become unlocked.
