For those who are only looking for some nice filters to apply onto the images stored inside their Windows Phone handsets, Camera: Mega Filters offers a few neat effects that can be added on the spot.
Decent appearance for an easy to use GUI
The looks of this application are quite appealing, mainly thanks to the beautiful background displayed inside the GUI. The graphics are decent, while the controls are kept at hand and easy to reach.
Moving among the numerous menus and sections of the application is smooth and without any delays or other kind of flaws. Also, the workspace is well-sized, allowing you to view the modifications as they are applied in real time.
The preview area where you can see how the selected filters look like onto the loaded pic is well-sized. The small thumbnails that showcase the effects in the lower side of the screen use a default image and not the one you have queued for processing.
Preview the filters and add as many as you want
The first screen you get to meet showcases the abilities of Camera: Mega Filters and you are presented with a nice assortment of images from your phone with a variety of filters applied. Unfortunately, if you try to use some of these presets, the app will crash upon tapping the pics.
The utility is ready to help you take snapshots on the spot and have them modified with the effects you think are most appropriate for each photograph. Also, in case you want to tinker with some of the pics that are already stored locally inside your photo folders, this app is ready to help.
A great advantage this utility has over many similar tools is that it supports the addition of several filters one on top of the other and you can even apply the same effect several times in a row in order to obtain a particular aspect for that pic.
The sequence of effects that have been applied to an image is reversible, thanks to the built-in "Undo filter" option. Also, you should note that in the case of certain effects, applying them may take longer because of their complexity.
