For Windows Phone users there is an app called Boxing Live that was meant to bring in the spotlight the most interesting events in this sport.
Plain GUI with a dull look and a decent layout
This utility is made for practical use rather than to be visually appealing since it doesn't feature any cool graphics. The main advantage of the front-end is the neat structuring of the content into relevant categories.
Going through the news articles, browsing the video list, as well as the upcoming events or the results sections is done in a simple and smooth manner, lacking any delays or other glitches. On the downside, the ever-present ad banners are to be found everywhere inside the application, in the lower part of the screen.

Boxing Live opens up with a disappointingly empty "News" section, which means that you will be able to get your info from the "More News" area, where you can opt for the news feed of Sky Sports, Yahoo Sports, BBC Sport – Boxing or Boxing Insider.
Better prepared is the "Showtime Vids" module, where you will get a nice selection of clips related to the latest upcoming or passed events. The list with the fights to come and the recent results is as simple as it gets, with all the details presented on a white sheet of virtual paper.
Unfortunately, there are some other sections inside this app, namely the "Tweets" and the "Boxing Chat", which are lacking content because of some presumable connection problems, so the application is rather limited in terms of functionality and information it can provide.
