Nice looking and easy to use front-end
This application is made to make things simpler for Instagramers, to help them add personal content and view what friends and fellow posters have uploaded. The interface has a fresh appearance, with smooth graphics and a well-organized layout.
Moving through the numerous sections of the app and browsing the images and videos has a very fluent feel to it, but there are some annoying adverts that appear in some areas, as well as a few occasional prompts to rate the app that spoil some of the fun.
Take pictures, record clips and edit then share them on the spot
With 6tag you have the possibility to capture snapshots or make short videos using the on-board camera and then post them so all your friends can view them.
Before publishing the content, you have the possibility to customize it with some nice filters and add blur effects. Also, for the pics and clips you like, you have an option to save them locally or share them through other social services.
Manage multiple accounts and view posts uploaded near you
This application supports more than one Instagram account and it allows you to switch between any listed accounts with a couple of taps. Finding your friends or hashtags is a simple task thanks to the built-in search function that displays results as you type.
In case you want to check out the Instagram activity of users in your immediate proximity, you can use the "nearby" function and view the posts in a few moments. You can customize the range for which the latest uploads are shown and also activate the map for a more accurate localization.
