Xprt 1.1
Xprt, however, is a free app that you can use for this exact purpose. You won’t just be getting replies from bots to help solve your problems, but actual human beings with computer skills. Whether you’re having a problem with your computer or having troubles deciding what graphics card to buy to match your other components, Xprt can be of help.
Free tech support
The app is completely free to use and you should get help within a few minutes of mentioning what problems you’ve encountered. One of the company’s experts will probe for more details regarding your setup and ask for details regarding the issues for your Windows or Mac computers (Linux support can be added too if there’s a demand, devs say).
Hopefully, once your conversation is done, your problems will be solved and your computer will be back in working order.
While using the app doesn’t cost you a penny, you do have the chance to tip your expert and to give them a review for others to see. You can increase or decrease the sum to whatever amount you want, depending on how deep your pockets go. This is a great concept since the app doesn’t force you to pay for anything, but it does give you the chance to open your wallet to show your appreciation for having your problem solved.
Tip your expert
Chat history is present in the app so you can always go back and check what the experts had to say if you encounter the same problem in the future. If you don’t see the data, just drag your finger down the screen to refresh it all.Payments are handled via Stripe and the charges on your credit card will only be made for the tips you decide to give and nothing more.
If you’re a computer expert you can join in the team by providing your basic information and professional skills. Someone from the Xprt team will look it over and decide whether or not you’ll fit in with the rest of the people there.
All in all, this is a pretty nice app that can get you out of a tight spot when your computer refuses to work. It should also come in handy when trying to decide what computer to buy next. The best part of it all is that all this tech help is free and you’ll only be paying if you want do to it, not because you have to. Since the app is free and there are no ads to speak of, this is the only payment model available.
