Timerlist 1.1.3

Set up things you need to do, each with their own list of timers
There are numerous occasions when you need to be able to keep track of how much time has passed without having to do the math for it. For instance, if you’re cooking something, or going through an exercise routine where you need to do jumping jacks for a certain amount of time before moving on to push-ups for instance.

In such occasions, it’s probably best if you have an app to help you out since a mechanical timer will just be annoying to reset after every ring.
Timerlist is an iOS app that’s perfect for whatever needs you may have, whether it’s your yoga session or whatever it is you’re cooking in the kitchen.

Easy as pie

The app has a simple interface that’s very easy to figure out by all users, even if you’re just starting out. The main screen is basically a list of all the timers you’ve set up. You’ll notice there are several in there already, which you can delete quite easily, but only if you’re a Pro user. They should, however, help you get a sense of what the app can do.

You can set up a few timers without upgrading to the Pro app, although the most efficient is to just edit the ones the app comes with. The entire process is extremely easy and you start by tapping on the plus sign. You’ll have to give it a name and choose whether to have the app make announcements or only for it to vibrate.

Inside each of the entries you can set up multiple timers to mark down when you need to have the app alert you for each step you need to take. There’s also the possibility to pick out whether the app will make the announcement with some soothing “zen” sounds or with the regular annoying beeps.

Quick controls

From the main screen where the list sits, you can start any of the timers by swiping the entry to the right. Repeating the action will pause the timer. Swiping the entry in the opposite direction will reset it.

The app’s side menu doesn’t hold a lot of secrets. In fact, you can only swap themes, but there aren’t too many of them available for free.

All in all, this is a nice app to have around. The downside is that you have to edit the entries already listed rather than be able to delete them and make new ones if you don’t want to pay for the Pro version.
