Paperless Post 5.3.1

Send friends and family e-cards or have them printed with Paperless Post
It wasn’t that long ago when sending post cards, letters and actual written notes through the post office wasn’t all that uncommon. Nowadays, it seems that the only thing we get through the mail are bills and newsletters.

Nowadays, however, there is a little left over from old habits – invitations and greeting cards are still sent, but it all happens over the Internet, which makes it all cheaper and more eco-friendly.

Paperless Post is an app that was built for this particular purpose and more. Basically, you can use it to send others various cards over email, but also, if you want, through the mail.

Pick a template

The app allows you to create this type of cards by using one of the many templates available on the site. There are various options available, set under categories. On top of the regular birthday cards, thank you notes and wedding invitations, there are also some seasonal options available, be these specially created for Christmas, Valentines Day or another type of holiday.

Once you’ve decided on one of the templates, you can customize it all. Of course, you can retype the entire text. It’s possible to select the typeface, the color and format of the text. Then, once you’re done, you can pick the card’s backdrop, going between solid colors, patterns and textures of different colors.

Since this is supposed to look a bit more old-fashioned even if it’s an e-card, you can also adjust the way the envelope liner looks.

If this is an event that requires others to RSVP, you can enter the event name, add the time, date and location, as well as the guest list and guest book.
Some of the designs can also be sent over mail. You’ll notice these because you’ll be able to pick between “online” and “paper” from the top area of the preview page. For these, you can also adjust the card size.

It's not all free

While some of the templates are free to use, there are some that will cost you so-called coins. Additional details, such as envelope lining, will also cost extra coins. These, of course, can be purchased from the store. Physical cards come at a different cost and can’t be bought with coins, but you’ll notice the price from the get-go. Thankfully, as far as the electronic coins go, you won’t start off with zero balance.
