File Manager Free 2.3
iOS6 style UI
Boasting a thick, iOS 6-style interface, File Manager may not be looks very appealing. However, people with less than 20/20 vision will thank TapMedia for choosing such big Folder icons and other file representations.
The color set is contrasting and everything is very visible, not washed out as with most iOS 7-inspired apps. However, because the UI is old and hasn’t received maintenance in quite a while, some things are just not right anymore (i.e. Microsoft’s SkyDrive is now dubbed OneDrive, the 30-pin iPhone connector is almost extinct, etc.).
Standard file management
The free app does pack a large amount of management features, but it doesn’t seem to support many document types. Images load pretty slow, and songs take forever to download.
You can use it to swap files back and forth with other devices and desktop computers, either via Bluetooth, WiFi or iTunes Connect. Cloud integration lets you fetch existing files that you have stored in the cloud.
You can share, print, zip and unzip, as well as open files in external apps, which is very useful. Images don’t have previews on them (because they’re only downloaded when you tap them). The archiving / unarchiving tool alone is worth the download
Cloud
It’s designed to fetch files from just about anywhere, and it can modify the contents of your cloud services (with your permission, of course). You can also set a PIN code on it for protection, but it doesn’t kick in until you close the app manually. A pretty big slip-up, considering that some people entrust these apps with their most private matters.

It’s ancient but we can think of a few people who prefer this type of design over the washed-out apps that we have today |
