These days smartphones are taking over our lives in a very big way. It’s common sense to have things like weather applications and calculators built inside these devices that we’re so addicted to. Even converters are popular tools that smartphone / OS vendors offer as standard. But there’s one conversion tool out there that should be the status quo on every device on the planet.
Hands down, the best conversion utility in the App Store
Converter+ by TranCreative has got to be the most feature-packed conversion utility we’ve ever laid our hands on. This thing has an endless selection of factors and criteria that you can choose from, combine, calculate and compare making it the perfect reference tool for any situation.
I can’t think of one scenario where you’d need a conversion done and this app wouldn’t be able to deliver. Besides the usual conversion tools that we’re all accustomed with (area, currency, volume, temperature, time, etc.), this app offers conversions and calculators for things like momentum, gravity on other planets, shoe sizes, pipe flow, mortgage, your country’s economy and inflation, entropy and enthalpy, dog years, blood glucose levels, and dozens of others.
Looks pretty too
Converter+ has a really elegant design. Not only that but through this clever design its developers have enabled a tremendous workflow. There’s a list of basic conversions front a center, and they all sit stacked like cards. Select one and the rest just go below and form a deck. You can arrange them any way you want, even edit their templates with your own numbers and save conversions as pictures for instant sharing.
Swipe downwards on the list of cards and the search menu pops up on a dark background. A full list of conversions and calculators from A to Z is there, and you’ll be amazed at the sheer amount of options you’ll find in there. This app is simply amazing.
In the latest version, Converter Plus has been enhanced for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and addresses iCloud synchronization bugs, and a problem that caused the app to show only half of the screen.
