Clime 1.0

Know what the weather's going to be like, both at home and anywhere else in the world
Before you leave the house, it’s always best to be prepared, especially when you expect to stay out in the open for a number of hours. What should you make sure to be prepared for, you ask? Well, the weather, of course. That’s because no one likes to be caught by surprise by a downpour, a blizzard or extreme temperatures.

Clime is an app that seeks to help you out with this aspect and will be there for you whenever you want to check how many degrees are out or what to expect later on.

Clean and simple

The tool’s interface is pretty simple and isn’t that difficult to figure out. The app wants access to your location so it can always provide data that’s as accurate as possible. The name of the city you live in appears at the top of the page, along with the country of residence, and date.

Below, you’ll find the current weather condition, temperature, as well as the maximum and minimum temperatures expected for the day. The list of data you’re going to find there includes chances of precipitation and wind speeds.

At the very bottom of the screen, there’s a five-day forecast that includes the expected weather condition and average temperatures.

More data than you thought

Hidden from view, there’s more to this app. Double tapping on the weather section will bring out a 15-hour forecast. Instead of providing an hourly forecast that doesn’t change too much, Clime delivers the data for every three hours, complete with the temperature, real feel temperature, humidity levels, wind speeds and chances of rain.

The app permits users to add more cities to the mix. Tapping on the city at the top of the screen brings up a search bar where you can type in the name of location you want to add. Once you’ve filled in a few letters, the app will start looking for a positive match.

Once you’ve picked the cities you want to add, you can swipe left and right and move between them on the home page, with a dotted line indicating your location in the carousel.

All in all, this is a pretty nice app and while it doesn’t provide an excessive amount of information, you don’t really need anything beyond this basic data. The fact that you can add multiple locations is great.
