Google’s Chrome browser is one of the most popular browsers out there and it’s available on multiple platforms, including Android, iOS and Windows. However, Google also developed different variants of Chrome, one of which is Chrome Canary.

Google’s Chrome Canary is a bleeding edge experimental version of Chrome, which comes with the latest features. However, it comes packed with beta features, which means that users shouldn’t rely on stability when using Canary.

The tech giant has made Chrome Canary available on Windows and Mac, and it has now announced that the channel is ready for Android users to test. The new versions contain various features, enhancements, and bug fixes. The Android versions are built from recent code available, just like the Canary channel on other platforms.

Users should take into consideration that the builds are shipped automatically and don’t undergo any prior manual testing. This means that the build can be unstable or even stop working for several days at a time.

Google did mention that the Canary team prioritizes fixing major issues so that the channel remains usable at all times.

For the time being, builds for Chrome Canary will ship every week day, while in the future they might only be made available on weekends. Google stated that updates would take up more than 100MB of space per week, so users should take this into account.

The Chrome Canary channel is available on Google Play store.
