Composing and recording music with your phone or tablet might not seem like the best idea, but Samsung wants to show that it’s possible with the Soundcamp app for Android. As you might suspect, the application will only work with Samsung devices, although this shouldn’t be a big problem.

The two instruments that are available in the application, drums, and piano, are not sufficient, but it’s possible to use various 3rd party music apps in conjunction. The app uses Samsung Professional Audio technology, it’s capable of recording, editing and mixing up to 8 audio/MIDI tracks, it comes with full MIDI support, and it even features a piano-roll editor for precise MIDI editing modifications.
