What's new in MARVEL Contest of Champions APK 12.0.1:

  • Stats & System Changes:
  • Block Proficiency improved across the board.
  • Challenge Ratings Per Rank now overlap similar to Champion Power Indexes. (A 4* Rank 5 and a 5* Rank 3 are both Challenge Rating 100) .
  • Armor Penetration, Block Penetration, Critical Hit Resistance have been zeroed out from all Champion base stats.
  • Removed the chance for Champions to receive a Critical Hit while blocking.
  • Mastery Changes:
  • Parry
  • Parry now utilizes an implementation that bypasses the diminishing returns formula. This ensures that Champions will take less damage from attacks while they are Parrying, and Champions with a sufficiently high Base Block Proficiency receive no damage after landing a Parry.
  • Block Proficiency
  • Increased the amount of Block Proficiency gained at each rank.
  • Energy Resistance & Physical Resistance
  • Increased the amount of resistance gained at each rank.
  • Precision & Lesser Precision
  • Increased the amount of Critical Rating gained at each rank of Precision and Lesser Precision.
  • Cruelty & Lesser Cruelty
  • Increased the amount of Critical Damage Rating gained at each rank of Cruelty and Lesser Cruelty.
  • Recoil
  • Increased the attack bonus gained at each rank.
  • Champions:
  • Scarlet Witch
  • Removed her Base Critical Hit Chance reduction.
  • Improved several of the Veil of Fortune (Signature Ability) Buffs – Regeneration, Cruelty, and Fury.
  • Doctor Strange
  • Hoggoth’s Wisdom Regeneration increased.
  • Oshtur’s Refuge Armor and Block Proficiency Bonuses increased.
  • Black Widow
  • The effectiveness of her Signature Ability is now modified by class advantage and disadvantage.
  • Storm
  • Increased the base damage of her special attacks.
  • Captain America and Captain America WWII
  • Moved bonus Block Proficiency from Passive Ability to Base Attribute.
  • Increased base Perfect Block chance.
  • Thor
  • Attribute Improvements:
  • Increased base Health and Attack.
  • Ability Changes:
  • Signature Ability: Ragnarok Armor Break amount reduced, duration increased, and it can now stack up to 2 times.
  • Increased chance to trigger Stun on all special attacks.
  • New Abilities:
  • Chance to trigger a Fury Buff on all attacks.
  • The chance to trigger a Fury Buff increases the longer the fight goes on.
  • He gains Armor Penetration for each active Fury Buff.
  • Power Index (PI) increased.
  • Ghost Rider
  • Increased his Regeneration on hit.
