Google Play Store is filled with all sort video editing apps that you can instantly install on your device and use without much fuss. One of such apps is Video Editor by FunMedia Studio. It's an easy-to-use video editing app with lots of perks.
Intuitive but dated UI
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, but you shouldn't have any trouble with using it. It has an about section with a presentation of the app, but that's about it.
It doesn't use material design, although it would have been nice if all features would have been arranged in a side menu and you'd only need to tap one button to get to all tools.
Still, it launches with the home screen featuring icons as shortcuts to all sort of sections inside the app. It doesn't have a settings menu, so there's no option to make some general adjustments to the app.
Edit videos easily
All you need to do in order to create videos is to pick a recorded video from your gallery or even pictures. You can trim videos to a certain duration, add a soundtrack from your music folder, rotate the screen and add pictures from your gallery.
When you're done with that simply save the video in your default or Instagram resolution. The app takes a while to export videos, so you should be patient with that. It saves videos in a separate folder, you can preview them inside the app, share with friends on social networks or rename files.
More features
The app also has some other individual features, like the option to trim videos to any size that you would like or merge two videos together. There's also the option to convert mp4 videos into mp3.
However, it seems that it does have some flaws and a few of the converted videos have trouble loading which is quite inconvenient. The app has a whole section with output files, including videos, images or audio.
All in all, the app is quite nice with everything you might need in order to edit your videos, but some of its features don't work properly, like the video conversion one.
