Weather is one of the most unpredictable things in the world, of course depending on your location and the season. Still, many people like to check the forecast before leaving home.

One of the apps that could help you with that is the Weather application. It provides you with a two week forecast for multiple locations, view satellite feed for Europe and the UK, or chat with other app users.

Nifty interface that could use an upgrade

The first thing that you need to do when launching the app is to enable your location services so that the Weather can pinpoint your location on the map and provide you with the latest weather information.

However, it seems that the app has a bit of trouble doing so therefore you'll need to set your home location using the side menu on the left. You'll also find there links to the developer's accounts on various social networks, like Facebook, Google+ or Twitter.

Pick multiple locations

Simply type in the name of your desired location in the search bar or navigate through the list of continents and countries. You can pick multiple locations simply by adding them to your list of favorites. The home screen displays the forecast for the next two weeks, including with temperatures and conditions. Tap on one day to get the chances of precipitation, wind speed and other details.

The background changes depending on conditions for the actual day and provides you with conditions for upcoming hours. It also comes with links to webcams from your location, coordinates, altitude, the hour when the sun rises and sets.

Adjust settings to your liking

It comes with some customization features, like the option to change the theme of icons, the units of measurement for temperature and wind speed including marine data. Other than that, you can use the app to chat with people from the same location, get satellite feed on Europe and the UK or check out the radar in your location, from the closest radar to your country.

Still, the home screen seems a bit dated and it would need some nicer background images and visuals so it could compete with other weather applications on the internet. It also comes with customizable widgets that you can add to your home screen and check the weather quickly without actually launching the app.
