Pixr Express - Effect Express 2.6
Some applications come with lots of detailed tools while others have just the basic features that you can use. Pixr Express - Effect Express falls into neither category. It has lots of tools, but they belong to the Aviary app which means that you won't find anything special inside this app.
Easy-to-use but common interface
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, but you wouldn't really need them since it has a really intuitive UI. It launches directly with the home screen, providing users with two shortcuts to access their gallery and the camera for snapping pictures.
It's missing a settings menu, which means that you won't be able to make any changes to the UI or the app's functions. The home screen is quite nice, but it does have some ads and a boring wallpaper on the home screen.
Edit your pictures easily
The app comes with lots of tools that you might use in order to edit your pictures. It has a feature that lets you automatically enhance images, adjust brightness and resolution. It has some effects that you can add to your picture, but you'll need to download the pack for free from the internet.
The same goes with frames that you could apply to your images. Stickers are available, but you'll have to download them on your device. The same goes with overlays, but you won't be missing anything since they're not really original and are identical to some found in other applications.
More features and some flaws
You can add a vignette to your image, pinch the screen to adjust it. In addition, there's the option to adjust brightness, contrast, highlights and shadows on your screen. Lighting and orientation can also be changed. In addition, users can adjust color saturation, warmth, tint or fade.
Sharpness and splash can be changed, users can also draw all sort of things on their pictures. You can add text and pick a color from the list provided inside the app.
Users can also blur certain areas of their pictures or use the blemish feature to remove imperfections and pinch the screen to zoom images. When you're done, you can save or share the image online. But the app doesn't let you pick the destination folder.
