hitbox beta 1.0.30

The next generation live streaming and communications platform for gamers
Google Play Store is filled with all sort of entertaining applications that you can use in order to enhance your user experience. One of such apps is hitbox beta. It's the next generation live streaming and communications platform for gamers and the gaming community.

It's a great way to check out new games and see what other people like to play during their spare time. It sports a fluent interface, but it could use some more tools to make the app more appealing to users.

Fluent UI that needs some more tools

The app doesn't come with a tutorial or a presentation of its features, which is quite inconvenient since new users could find some tips quite beneficial, especially when launching a new application.

It lacks material design or a side menu that would offer quick access to the app's sections. All categories inside the app are arranged in tabs on the main screen.

It doesn't have any settings or changes that you could adjust to the app's interface and its features. However, all users need to register with an account before they can access the app and its features.

Check out interesting live streams

Before you can access the app's features, you'll need to register with an account. You can do so by using your Facebook login information or an email address. However, we've tried both options multiple times, but it seems that we weren't successful.

We couldn't register with an account no matter how many times we tried. This means that we couldn't follow users on the network and see when they get online so we could follow their streams. Still, the app has a section that allows users to check out various live streams.

More tools

You can add a comment on live streams and adjust the image quality of videos. This option lets you chat with all sort of users. You can check out live channels and games.

It shows you the games played now and lets you choose from multiple live streams. However, it would have been nicer if they were arranged into categories, rather than having users scroll through them.

The app comes with Quality Switch, Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV & LG TV support, sharing Option, adaptive bitrates & real fullscreen mode (even on tablets). But it seems that Chromecast is quite buggy and could use some more work.
