Glitchr 2.2.2
It's a nice photo editor but it could use some more tools and a nicer interface. Don't expect this app to have that many options, it's a simplistic UI but worth a try simply because of the nice filters.
Dated UI that really needs an upgrade
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which is quite inconvenient since users find some guidance quite beneficial when launching a new application. It doesn't come with material design or a side menu with quick access to settings.
In fact, the app doesn't have any changes that you can apply to its functions or the interface. The layout is quite different to that of other applications that we've seen. Users don't get access to sections using tabs, while the whole UI doesn't seem quite fluent.
Edit pictures using the app
The app allows users to either access the camera and snap pictures or the gallery and pick the ones that you would like to edit. Unfortunately, the app doesn't have an image viewer, so you will have to use the one installed on your device in order to scroll through images on your device.
All the effects that you can apply on your photo are displayed at the bottom of the screen, but you can only pick from 5. There's the option to apply a VHS effect, glitch art, 3D, triangle or jpeg. But the effects aren't that nice, they simply distort the image, but don't make it more artistic.
Some flaws
It takes a lot of time to apply effects, which is quite inconvenient since users would really have to be patient when editing their pictures. After they're applied, you can save the image to your phone and share it with friends.
The app doesn't allow users to pick a destination folder on your device or adjust the image quality. Pictures lose their quality after editing, so keep that in mind. All in all, the editor has some interesting features, but it's not worth the wait for applying them. The app also needs some more tools or options to help users with editing.

Bottom Line
Design / UI5
The interface has quite a dated layout with only a few options and it lacks a settings menu with some changes that you could do to the UI. |
Function3
It's quite a simplistic application, it only has five effects that you can apply so it surely needs some more tools to make it more appealing to users. |
Security9
It only needs some permissions to your phone, so you shouldn't worry about the app posing any privacy issues. |
Battery8
Consumption is low, the app surely won't drain your battery no matter how long you use it. |
Price10
It doesn't come with any ads or in-app purchases which is quite nice. |
Compatibility8
The app should work on devices running Android version 4.0.3 or later, making the app available to many users. |
It needs a lot more work.
