Filter Mania 1.3
One way in which you can do just that is by using Filter Mania. It's a nice application with lots of features at hand but it could use some color adjustments and more tools.
Intuitive UI with lots of features at hand
The app launches with a tutorial showing new users all the neat things that they could do using this photo editor. You'll also get some onscreen tips as you start using the app.
The home screen has a boring wallpaper in the background and it's missing a settings menu to help users make some changes to the app's UI and functions. It only has two icons on the home screen, one for loading pictures from your gallery and one for accessing the camera.
It only loads photos in your camera folder, so you won't be able to check out other images saved on your device. Still, it arranges them by the date they were taken which is quite nice.
Snap and edit pictures
The first thing that you need to do after launching the app is to adjust your picture and crop it to whichever size your would like. The app comes with a toolbar at the bottom of the page, you'll get quick access to all of its sections and tools.
You can apply all sort of effects to your images, but don't expect them to be very elaborate. There's the option of applying just one effect at a time. Other than that, it comes with bokeh overlays. They have different sizes and come in lots of shapes.
More features and tools
The app lets you apply all sort of filters on your pictures, simply scroll through all of those filters and find the one that you like the most. You can add all sort of text inside the app, simply write down and change the font style, size and color.
When you're done editing, share the app on various social networks like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and more. It lacks some more appealing features like the option to choose the destination folder and to make some color adjustments to the picture. The app doesn't keep your picture quality, it could actually lower it which is quite inconvenient.

Bottom Line
Design / UI5
The UI could use some more work, icons have a poor quality and the background image is quite boring. |
Function7
It could use some more features and color adjustment tools and the app reduces the quality of your images. |
Security7
It doesn't need that many permissions from your phone, so it shouldn't pose any privacy issues. |
Battery6
Consumption is a bit high, keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price3
It's filled with all sort of annoying ads, but there's no option of removing them. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later. |
You'll find better apps on the market.
