Amber Weather
One of such apps is Amber Weather. It sports an intuitive UI with lots of features at hand and some customization tools, which is quite rare for weather apps. It also has some nice widgets that you can use and add to your home screen.
Easy-to-use interface with plenty of features at hand
It's always nice to come across applications launch with a tutorial or a presentation, despite the fact that it adds up to the app's total size. However, Amber Weather doesn't come with tips for new users but you wouldn't really need them since it sports a really intuitive layout with lots of features at hand.
It lacks material design, but it does have a side menu with instant access to sections. The app comes with a whole section with customization tools. You can add a nice wallpaper to your widget, pick a locker skin, change the icon set, notification set and more
Lots of customization features
The app also comes with a live wallpaper, but there's no option to add another one to your screen. Most of the customization features are free, but there's an additional store in which you can check out paid themes. Prices range from 0.99$ to up to 8.99$, which can be a bit steep.
After you've customized the app, you'll need to pick the units of measurement from the settings menu. Choose from the metric or imperial system, whichever one you're more used to. The app comes with the option of picking the data source and adjusting the update interval, so that you would limit battery resources.
Check the weather easier
It displays the current temperature, together with real-feel and the maximum and minimum degrees. It also shows you chances of precipitation, wind speed and direction. It displays information on visibility, pressure, dew point and the hour when the sun rises and sets.
You can check the temperature in the next few days, simply slide the toolbar left. Amber Weather also shows users temperatures for the next few hours.
Users are able to pick from multiple locations and switch between them in the side menu. All in all, the app is quite nice and it has surprisingly many customization features, more than we've seen in any other weather app
