Add and customize widgets to your home screen with this neat app

Every app comes with one or more widgets for the home screen. They're a great way of receiving bits of information without actually launching the app. However, it would be nice if you could add and customize widgets yourself and select the information you want them to display. Zooper Widget lets you do just that, it provides you with the tools to create cool widgets of all shapes and sizes.

Surprisingly neat interface

Before you can start adding widgets to your home screen, you should first configure general settings in the app. You can change the background for preview screen, adjust the refresh interval in order to limit battery consumption or have the app display widgets only in landscape mode (great if you mostly use your phone in this mode).

The app only comes in English and you can have it override the system's language settings and use English by default. While the UI is easy-to-use, you can still check out the help section if you're having trouble with the app.

Choose from many widgets

The whole purpose of this app is to provide you with widgets in all sizes and plenty of designs, for displaying weather conditions, the time and your calendar. Therefore you can have the app hide all day events and choose the weather provider.

The app comes with 15 sizes of widgets that you can choose from. They're all adjustable and the phone screen well. Once you've selected one, you must choose from a multitude of styles and types of widgets. However, they're all in shades or gray so you must change the background to bring some color to your screen.

Customize your widgets

Zooper has everything you need to customize your widgets, including the layout. You can change the name of modules, rearrange them in the widget, change the text font and color, adjust scale and blur. The same can be done for each section in the widget.

Also you can change the background color, add location or choose which calendar is displayed. It's truly one of the most customizable apps out there, but in order to save templates users must upgrade to the ad-free pro version for 2.32$.
