Weatherzone
One of such applications is Weatherzone. It provides you with all the features you need in order to check the weather in multiple locations, although the default weather provider is from Australia.
Intuitive interface with plenty to offer
The app launches directly with the home screen, it doesn't have a tutorial or any kind of instructions for new users to discover its features. Still, it shouldn't be difficult to use since it's got a side menu that provides users with instant access to all of its sections and tools.
The first thing that you need to do inside the app is to enable location services so the app can find the city you currently reside in. You can also type in the location yourself.
Check the weather easily
It displays the current temperature in your location, together with wind speed, dew point, humidity and air pressure. You can also check the forecast for the upcoming seven days or for the next hours. It comes with a chart to display temperature variations and it provides you with detailed information on everything you need to get the complete forecast.
Users can check the weather in multiple locations and change the units for temperature, wind speed or rainfall. You can also get warnings for extreme weather or check the observation history. Users also get access to a local radar, but that depends on your location.
More features
Some of the other features like a radar, synoptic, information on ski and snow conditions are only available for Australia. The app also comes with a section featuring the latest news related to the weather, but they're also only available for Australia, you can't get the news from other countries. Weatherzone has three widgets of different sizes that you can use to get detailed information directly on your home screen, without launching the app.
However, it doesn't come with a temperature icon in the notification bar which is quite strange considering that many applications do have it. All in all, the app is quite nice featuring charts and details on the forecast for the next 48 hours and 7 days, but it would have been useful if other features would have been available for multiple locations.
