Weather can be really unpredictable, that's why many people need an app that constantly updates temperatures and provides all the useful information they need throughout the day. WeatherBug comes with weather forecast, radar map, storm alerts and many other features.

Simplistic GUI with some customization features

You wouldn't expect a weather app to be complicated or confusing, but it should come with some stylish features to make it more appealing. The interface is dull at best, the menu comes in gray colors and leaves space for an ad banner in the bottom of the screen.

There's the option of changing the background image, but the gallery comes with few images to choose from. Although, the app comes with a gallery of weather related photos submitted by users, you can't rate or comment them, not to mention download or set as background pictures.

Check temperatures and wind conditions

When it comes to weather information, this app doesn't do any wrong. It comes with updated temperatures in your location, wind speed, dew point, humidity and the hour when the sun rises and sets. There's also information on chances of rain and the highest temperature in a given day.

Aside from this, the app provides a detailed ten-day forecast so you'd know what to expect from the coming week. There's also an hourly forecast for the next week, together with details on the moon phase and the hour when it's expected to rain. The app also comes with alerts of severe weather conditions.

Live cams and news on the weather

WeatherBug packs a lot of features under its interface. It comes with a radar map, that displays temperatures, heat indexes, dew points and much more in Google Maps, pinpointing your current location. It also features wind speeds and humidity.

There's also a lifestyle forecast, that shows you if conditions are proper for certain activities, like fitness, gardening, barbecue, thus helping you set up your schedule for the upcoming days. Storm Center comes with updated news on storms and extreme weather from around the world, while the spotlight section is filled with trending articles on the weather.

You can also watch videos of forecasts or check out live cams from around the world. Shortcuts for all its features are displayed on the home screen of the app. However, live cams and the spark feature aren't available in all locations and the app faces some stability issues.
