One of such applications is Weather XL PRO. It's a really nifty weather app that comes with live animation and some really neat features that you can check out.
Sleek interface with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with any instructions or a tutorial to get you started, but it does have all sort of features at hand. Still, it would have used some tips to show users how to access all of its tools and sections.
It doesn't have a side menu, meaning that the app doesn't use material design for its interface but it does sport a really nice UI that makes the whole user-experience seamless.
The first thing that you need to do when launching the app is to pick your location or enable GPS so that the app would track you. It also gives you the option to select multiple locations to check the weather.
Check the weather in multiple locations
Weather XL PRO already comes with two predefined locations, simply swipe the screen left to get the forecast in London and New York. You can change the location easily and check the weather in multiple cities.
The app displays a live wallpaper in the background portraying the current forecast in the selected location. It displays the wind speed, real feel and the current date and time.
You can also check changes of rain, humidity, UV index and whether the temperature is higher or lower than average. There's also a map with animation portraying conditions for the following days.
Use the home screen widget
The app provides you with the forecast for the next hours, showing you conditions, wind speed and humidity. You can also check the forecast for the upcoming 10 days in all of your selected locations. Users can change the units of measurement for temperature, wind speed and pressure.
A temperature icon can be enabled in the notification bar and the app also comes with a home screen widget that you can customize and add to your screen. The widget helps you check the temperature without having to launch the app.
