Weather Puppy 2.0
But one of the cutest application out there is Weather Puppy. It comes with plenty of themes featuring cute dogs, just so to brighten your day. Still, it takes a while to load cities and could use some extra features.
Cute interface with some options
The app doesn't really have a tutorial but comes with some onscreen instructions to get you started and settings under the 'paw' on the left side of the screen. It's quite a simplistic app and some themes are a bit kitschy, but at least wallpapers are HD and you can even share the app on social networks.
It only comes in English, the app wasn't translated in other languages. Still, it doesn't need online registration which means that it shouldn't pose any privacy issues.
Get the weather in various cities
The app lets you add multiple cities and locations, so that you may check weather conditions in various locations around the world. It imports information from wunderground.com, which means that the reports it provides are pretty reliable.
Each city has a different theme and you can install more if you check out the store section. You can either save free themes to your phone or pay for the nicest and cutest puppy themes on the network. Check previews before you buy and prices are about 1.99$ for one theme, but they also remove banner ads for good.
Check the weather
The app provides you with information on wind speed, a 10 day forecast, hourly temperatures and conditions, together with details when the sunrises and sets. It also tells you the amount of expected precipitations for the upcoming days. It would have been nice if themes would have been coordinated with current weather conditions, especially since many of them feature puppies outside.
In addition, the app takes a while to load themes and conditions for cities, aside from the fact that it has some stability issues and seems to crash at times. However, it surely is one of the cutest weather apps that you'll ever find on the Play Store and for solely that reason you should give it a try.
