Sleek UI with absolutely no features
The app doesn't come with a tutorial, but it does have some instructions and tips at hand. It doesn't use material design, in fact the front page only has a few features. It simply displays the logo on the front page and you have to tap on an icon on the bottom of it.
It has an overflow icon on the top right corner of the screen, but it doesn't have any settings or changes that you can do to the UI. It comes with a desktop version which you can enable, but only if you enter your email address. You'll get a download icon for saving and installing the version on your desktop.
Create VPN connections easily
The app does provide rather stable and fast VPN connections, but the quality of quite low. The connection will cause your phone to run slower which might be quite annoying.
Still, it does provide you access to websites otherwise blocked in your country and you will be able to surf the web protected. It has an icon in the notification bar, but the app doesn't tell users anything about the location of the server they've connected to or their IP address.
The volunteer option
It seems that the app is free and doesn't charge users because it comes with a volunteer option. Basically, any app user can register as a volunteer and Unlimited Free VPN - betternet would ask them periodically to install certain applications from partners and try them.
In this way, they can use unlimited and free VPN connections without any ads in the home screen. Other than that, the app doesn't come with any other feature or tool, it does however have a privacy policy with all the details that one might need to know.
