TouchPal is a full-featured keyboard app with plenty of tools and emojis to help you type messages faster and customize them with emoticons.
Sleek interface with themes
Everyone now and then we come across applications that are though through and have all the features that users need, including themes and customization tools. TouchPal comes with a highly comprehensive tutorial and plenty of instructions to get you started.
It doesn't really need online registration, but only for a few features. Connect with your Google+ profile or other social networking account to make it easier to sign up. The app comes with a whole store where you can download free or paid themes, sub-dictionaries, languages and more. But the store takes a while to load.
Customize the app to your liking
You can enable sounds or vibration during keypress. There's also the option of changing the font style or the keyboard appearance, to make it match your preferences and desired size. You can also enable voice feedback and choose the input language.
Emoji style can also be changed, but you can only choose from a style provided by the app and the system one. Also, there's the option of having the app predict emoji in the candidate bar, but that's only available for English.
Cloud prediction and back-up
The app supports more than 85 languages, but you'll need to download them individually. It also learns your typing history for prediction, corrects misspelling and mistyping, while automatically capitalizing words.
You can also back-up user words and your input habit on Cloud and synchronize them across all your devices. The app also comes with the word gesture feature that lets you input text by sliding across letters, making it more easy and more stylish to write words.
Wave sentence gesture lets you type words that dynamically emerge out of the keys, pull it to the space bar to input the expected word. More features and themes are available if you upgrade to the premium version for 2.56$ or check out pro features in a 7-day free trial, but you'll need to provide credit card information for that.
