Easy-to-use interface with instructions
The app opens with a list of instructions that you should read before launching it. While it's good to provide new users with tips, we doubt all of them will read them but rather close the window and start navigating in the app.
Super Status Bar only comes with English, there are no additional languages available. The first thing that you'll need to do is enable the app from the main page and the start personalizing and making it your own. Still, you'll notice that the app doesn't work properly and makes it difficult to close the status bar on certain devices.
Customize the app
The application is highly customizable, you can have it launch on boot and enable static notifications on it. In addition, you can set a background image with transparency, but you'll have to pick one from your own gallery and make sure it's the size of 320x25 or else the app crashes.
You can also create a custom background, by selecting a certain picture of the similar aspect ratio and also a color. The app also lets you pick elements that you'd like to be displayed on the status bar. Choose from battery, clock, notifications, date, carrier, panel, toggles and weather.
Each of this elements has its own settings, you can change the text font and enable animation for certain elements. The weather element lets you pick the unit for temperatures, the text color and location, which you'll have to type in although location services are on.
Choose a layout and upgrade to premium to unlock features
While the app works just fine without root and doesn't encourage users to root their phones, it has a root mode for users who have already performed this operation on their phones. There are also other modes you can choose from together with plenty of layouts to make the app more appealing.
Themes can only be unlocked if you purchase a premium version of this app for 3.78$. An upgrade would also get you access to 14 themes within the app and more downloadable themes from the shop, free of ads.
