Siine Shortcut Keyboard
Siine Shortcut Keyboard comes with some indispensable keyboard features, but it manages to stand out by providing users with unique shortcuts to predefined text and emoticons. It also has many customization features, enough for at least giving this app a chance.
Simplistic interface with some features
The app's Ui is quite simple, it only comes with a settings menu while the keyboard keeps all the characteristics of ordinary interfaces of keyboards on the market. It doesn't come with a tutorial, but has onscreen instructions and tips for new users to get accustomed to the app and to explore all its features.
Still, it seems that it displays the same tips more than once and that can actually get really annoying after a while. The app comes with only two themes, a light and dark one but it doesn't let you adjust the height and width of the keyboard.
Many features although the app could use a nicer design
The app is truly packed with features, as it has all the basic ones like auto-correction and capitalization. You can also enable sound, vibration and popup on keypress and pick the key for voice input.
But auto-correction feature comes in three forms, if you're not sure about your spelling then you should enable the very aggressive mode. You can also have the app suggest the next word that you might like to input or use names from your phone's contacts for suggestions and corrections. It can also be set to use multiple languages, they're picked from the system's dictionary.
Shortcuts for various expressions
The app also comes with emoticons and users actually have the option of creating emojis of their own. You can also use the clock feature to write the time in your text or use the calendar to input a date and check events.
But the latter feature isn't available for free, users must share the app to 4 friends that use Android or purchase it for 0.93$. It also comes with shortcuts to greeting and busy expressions or you can create a signoff signature.
More than that, you can check out the online gallery to find other shortcuts that you can add to your keyboard. The app doesn't come with a slide feature.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface could use some more work together with more themes and customization options. |
Function9
It works just fine with plenty of features, but it lacks the slide feature, which seems that it has become quite common for keyboard apps. |
Security8
It will read your contacts, but it doesn't record any personal data, or at least that's what the developer posted inside the app. |
Battery4
Consumption is quite high, so keep that in mind when using the app. |
Price8
It's not completely free, you can unlock the calendar feature for 0.93$. |
Compatibility7
The developer didn't mention Android versions required for this device. |
It's a nice keyboard but it's missing some essential features.
