Simplistic app with only a few features
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions to show new users how to navigate and access all of its features. It even lacks a settings menu which means that you can't pick the destination folder or the format of the output file.
Still, the interface is really cute even if the app might be a bit simplistic and with few features. It doesn't even come with a separate section containing options for users to provide developers with a feedback.
Apply all sort of stickers to your pictures
Shii Overlays lets you import pictures from your gallery or snap images instantly using your camera. Once you've picked the image, you can start applying all sort of stickers to it. The app comes with a very extensive gallery of stickers that you can pick from.
The stickers come in all shapes and sizes, you can pick from orange and black icons, together with colorful icons portraying animals, flowers and hearts. In addition, you can pick from small quotes or emoticons and pick the color of the text and background.
Apply text
In addition, the app lets you apply all sort of text, you can change the font color, size and style. Users may also rotate images or zoom in on stickers and place them anywhere on the screen. But other than that you can't make any other changes to pictures.
Shii Overlays doesn't even let you crop images or adjust colors and brightness. It would have been nice if the app came with some additional filters or frames for images.
When you're done editing, you can save and share images on social networks. Still, keep in mind that the app reduces the quality of your original pictures and it doesn't even let you pick the size of output files.
