Pic Grid Collage Maker is not one of such apps, as it doesn't seem to work on many devices and completely crashes on others despite the high number of downloads from Google Play Store.
Nice interface that could use some more features
The app launches directly with a pop add, which you need to close before you can actually get to the home screen. It also has a section filled with all sort of applications that you may download to your phone, which is quite inconvenient but understandable since many photography apps come with ads.
The option to include ads is better than that of in-app purchases, since many users would rather skip some ads than have to pay for extra features. Pic Grid Collage Maker features a really nice wallpaper on the start screen, but comes with a banner ad on the bottom.
Create collages easily
It's a pretty straightforward app, the icons on the home screen are a bit small and should be made larger but you can still tap on them to open grids and start creating collages.
It comes with many templates to choose from, depending on how many pictures you'd like to include in them, like 2 to 4, 5 to 9 or a single image. They're also divided by aspect ratio, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4 or 3:2. Tap on one to open and choose border colors, save the template or share it with friends.
Some shortcomings
It's quite easy to add pictures, tap on one to add the app opens you gallery and you can only add one picture at a time. However, it seems that the app has major stability issues as it crashes whenever we tried to add a picture.
This may depend on the device that we've used or the Android version, but still a photography app shouldn't have such problems, especially since it has so many downloads on Google Play Store.
Other than adding photos, there's not much that you can do inside the app, there are no extra filters or stickers that you can add to the collage. In addition, there's no option of adding text or changing borders.
