Photobucket 3.3.3
Clean interface with lots of icons
The UI of this particular photography app is quite clean, without unnecessary icons taking up too much screen space. The app comes with a few instructions but the layout is pretty intuitive and you'll get the hang of it fast. The side menu offers quick access to all sections in the app and there's a toolbar with features that you can use, but you'll have to create an account first.
Use your Facebook profile to do so or your email address, however Facebook signing in doesn't work in this version. Still, you can have the app provide you with notifications when new stickers are added to the shop, new features are introduced or tips and help. It can also tell you of print deals for your pictures.
Upload your pictures to the cloud
The app offers you 10 GB of free space to backup your pictures so you'd avoid the risk of loosing them. Enable auto-backup and the app will automatically save images into cloud, but it may take a while if you have many and large pictures stored on your phone.
Still, you can back them up individually. Photobucket can also be used for editing images, however the app will only display the ones you've uploaded. You can use the camera to snap images, but you can't edit them as everytime you try to do so the application crashes.
Create GIFs and visit the print shop
The explore section is filled with all sorts of categories of images and GIFs for you to enjoy. You have the option of sharing or saving them to your phone, but don't try to edit them as it will cause the app to crash. Still, the GIF creator works just fine.
Snap pictures or record videos and start patching them together to create funny GIFs which you can later share. It comes with a print shop, where you can choose pictures and borders and have the app ship a framed picture to your location.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
The interface is really neat with all features at hand and arranged into a side menu and toolbar at the top of the screen. |
Function6
Two of the app's sections don't work properly. Users can't sign up with Facebook and the photo editor crashes. |
Security7
It needs online registration and the app peaks into many areas of your phone, so keep that in mind. |
Battery6
It takes up more battery than similar photo editing apps, so keep an eye on resources. |
Price8
It's free but comes with ads which can be removed for 0.99$. There's also the option of acquiring more storage space. |
Compatibility8
The developer didn't mention Android versions compatible with this device. |
Lots of potential, but it needs more work as it has major stability issues.
