One of such applications is PIX2. It doesn't have that many editing tools, but it lets you play with filters and apply nice messages on them. It's a pretty straightforward app so don't expect much from it.
Sleek UI with some features at hand
The app sports a beautiful layout, but it doesn't incorporate material design nor does it have a side menu with access to sections. It opens with a grid featuring pictures from your gallery and the option to access the camera or the gallery with all photos that you have stored on your device.
Still, it doesn't let you connect with an online cloud service, so you won't be able to load images from there. It doesn't have a tutorial or any kind of instructions, but you wouldn't need them since the UI is pretty straightforward and intuitive.
Edit your pictures easily
You can load images from your device's gallery or access the camera to snap new ones. The editor doesn't come with that many features, you can't adjust brightness, contrast or saturation. It does let users crop pictures to whichever size they wish, just before they add filters to them.
It comes with some filters that you can add to your images, but fewer compared to other applications on the market. Still, the filters are unique and really help enhance your photos. You can also adjust the transparency using the bar on the bottom of the screen.
More features
The app comes with over 100 typography words, all divided by all sort of categories. You can apply multiple ones on a picture, adjust colors and the size of the word caption. You can also adjust the transparency of the text.
But the app doesn't let you add your own phrases on pictures, which is quite inconvenient. When you're done editing the picture, simply save it to your device and share it using shortcuts to Facebook, Messenger, Twitter or Instagram.
It doesn't let you pick the destination folder or even add borders to pictures. The app reduces the size and resolution of your images, which is quite annoying since you wouldn't want an editor to affect image quality.
