Sleek UI with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, although it could have used some considering that it's filled with all sort of icons and users don't always know what each of them does. It simply launches with the map and detects your current position if you enabled location services.
There's a menu with some settings on the right and lots of icons on the top and bottom of the screen. Use gestures to enlarge or zoom out on the map and check the weather anywhere in the world.
You can have the app display country borders and adjust their transparency. You can also use the screencast feature to view the app on an additional display.

You can view the current forecast in your country or check the climate for the whole year. The app uses animation to display changes in temperature, precipitation and wind over the course of one year.
You can also view details on the current forecast, like chances of rain, wind speeds, cloud cover and temperature variations for the upcoming day. Users can check the temperature for the rest of the week only if they subscribe to the premium version for up to 6.99$ per year. The map is interactive, have it play animation or use gestures to manually search for a location.
More features
You can also search for a location manually by typing in the name of the city. It displays the local hour and the current temperature. However, the local hour is off so don't rely on the app for that sort of information.
It has some settings, you can have it combine layers, adjust the playback speed of the animation, have it display city lights, adjust the quality level and enable screencast. You can also adjust the units of measurement for temperature, wind speed, pressure, precipitation and altitude. The app comes with push notifications which can be disabled.
