The app comes with a very comprehensive tutorial and instructions, explaining all features that you might find. It shows you how the app works and what adjustments you could do to the brightness level on your screen. It has controls in the notification bar to make it easier to access tools found inside the app.
Lux Lite helps users define the behavior of they're device's backlight depending on the brightness of the environment. It works by linking the brightness of your surroundings with that of your device's display. The ambient light reading is obtained via the light sensor installed on the device.
Adjust brightness levels on your device
The app displays the brightness level of your surroundings and that of your screen. You can adjust brightness manually, ascendingly, periodically, dynamically or on wake.
You can also enable multiple profiles like auto, day, night, car or cinema. It also has an astronomer mode which turns the display red to help preserve your night vision.
It displays the colour temperature of your display in Kelvins. You can also adjust the backlight by using the slider. It has a refresh button that lets you get a new ambient light reading for readjusting the brightness.
More features
It comes with a very comprehensive settings menu that allows users to make all sort of changes to the functionality of the app. It also lets you adjust brightness by shaking your phone, set a backlight range, fade brightness changes or adjust brightness fade speed.
Jitter control is also available and you can set the maximum brightness level on your phone from inside the app. Lux Lite comes with features that lets you set brightness during calls or adjust the time between automatic backlight adjustments, but they're only available in the paid version of the app. Upgrade to the premium version by paying 2.99$. It comes with some plugins for certain phone types.
