Locket 2.1.21

Customize your lock screen and get important news even before you access your phone
Every now and then we come across apps that make the lives of Android users a lot easier, as they can integrate two functions in to a neat app.

Locket is one of such applications, which takes the load off customizing a lock screen and searching for news articles, as it provides you with both in a neat design directly on the lock screen so you don't even need to unlock your phone to get the latest headlines and reports.

Sleek design with plenty of features

The neat thing about this app is that it comes with a very nice design and intuitive layout. It offers new users a full comprehensive tutorial, showing them how to navigate inside the app and how to take advantage of all its features. It gives you instructions on how to save articles and read them later.

The app's interface has a side menu with access to saved content and settings. You can enable the lock screen and have the app vibrate whenever you save articles. In addition, you can adjust weather settings and have the app display temperatures in various units of measurement.

Customize the content you receive

The first thing you'll need to do inside the app is to select interests, topics that interest you the most so the app can provide you only with content that fits your preferences.

You can save articles for reading later inside the app where they are arranged into a neat list. You can also view how many likes articles got and share them online with friends.

The app also opens articles into your default browser if you wish or refresh them to view the latest comments. It works smoothly and you don't need to wait long for articles to be opened.

Read the latest headlines

The app displays a widget on the lock screen with the time and weather conditions in your area. You can slide through articles or save them for later. In addition, there's the option of opening the reading mode without even unlocking your phone, in case you wish to read an important article fast.

Moreover, you can share articles with friends or access the camera and snap a picture if you like. Locket isn't a complicated app, but has a really nice design and the whole idea behind it is quite genius. Still, a bit more work would be necessary and some extra features would surely be welcomed.
