Kanvas Keyboard 1.5.1
Kanvas Keyboard is a fun and nice keyboard that you can use for writing messages and sending cute texts. It has all the tools that you need to make your keyboard unique.
Fun UI with lots of features
The app launches directly with a tutorial, showing new users all the nice things that they can do with the app. You'll have to log with your Facebook or Google account in order to unlock stickers, you can also create an account if you wish.
Afterward, you'll need to enable the keyboard on your phone. The interface is quite simplistic, it only features a few sections arranged into a list and it doesn't have a settings menu.
You can check out the tutorial at any times and the app is based on a coins system. You can buy all sort of stickers using coins earned inside the app for sending messages or downloading other applications by the same developer.
Check out the fun keyboard
It's filled with all sort of fun things, like multiple categories of gifs that you can send to your friends, short phrases and emojis. You can also use the app to load pictures, add stickers to them and draw to edit them nicely. It also lets you snap a photo right from your keyboard to use as a background for custom messages and add text or paint on your photo before sending it to friends.
When you're done simply press the send button to include them in your message. The app also saves all of your messages into a separate section, filled with your favorite emojis and stickers. There you can also check out the history of sent stickers.
It's missing some essential features
Kanvas is not like other keyboards that we've come across, it seems to resemble an app that's filled with stickers and emojis. It doesn't have a personal dictionary, auto-correct and it only comes in English.
It doesn't suggest words and has no customization options for the actual keyboard, you can't even adjust its size and it seems to cover suggestions from OK Google.
Other than that, the settings menu only lets you enable the vibration on touch feature. Not to mention that the app doesn't support slide typing or any diacritics whatsoever. All in all, the app is quite simplistic and only offers packs of stickers and emojis that users have to either buy or earn.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
It has a nice interface, with some features arranged into a list on the home screen but it needs customization options for the keyboard. |
Function6
It's more like a pack of stickers than an actual keyboard, since it's missing all the basic features including dictionaries. |
Security6
It requires users to register with an account and it needs lots of permissions from your phone. |
Battery8
Consumption is normal for a keyboard app, you don't have to worry about it draining your resources. |
Price6
It works on a system of coins, but also has in-app purchases. |
Compatibility7
It needs devices running Android version 4.0.3 or later to work, making it inaccessible to some users. |
It's missing all the basic features that almost all keyboard apps have.
