InstaFace 3.15
One of such apps is InstaFace. It's mainly focused on face and eyes morphing, providing many overlays of cute and fierce animals.
Sleek interface with many features at hand
The app's UI is really suitable for a photography app, it has many sections all neatly arranged on the home screen in the form of thumbnails. The menu is only filled with some options to rate the app and it doesn't even come with instructions, letting users figure the app by themselves.
In addition, it has many banner and popup ads, aside from all the adverts to other applications by the same developer. It doesn't come with the option of adjusting the image resolution or picking the destination folder, as it automatically saves pictures in a folder it creates. Also, users should know that the image quality of the output file is really lower than that of the original picture.
Create amazing pictures
The app doesn't let you snap pictures of your own, but access the gallery and import images from there. The faceoff feature lets you add stickers with animal heads, in order to cover picture portraits and create a whole new image.
You can pick from the many options inside the app, some stickers are really cute while others seem quite fierce. Tap on one to add and use gestures to rotate or zoom out. You can also apply filters to pictures, but keep in mind that they're only applied on background images and not on stickers as well.
Plenty of features to pick from
The app also lets you morph faces, but you'll have to place them within markers first. You can pick from plenty of styles available, to have faces morphed with that of animals.
Filters can also be applied, but only on original pictures and not stickers as well. Frames are also available but they're a bit tacky and don't really go with morphed faces.
The face split feature gradually morphs your face while the other features partially morph your face into an animal of your choice. Obviously, the app is best used for selfie pictures as they provide the highest accuracy.

Bottom Line
Design / UI8
The interface is okay, with background images that constantly change and a nice and well structured design that could do without banner ads. |
Function8
Output pictures are of a lower resolution than original ones, while the app lacks some basic features and the ones that it has are a bit tacky. |
Security9
It shouldn't pose any privacy issues as it only needs access to a few areas of your phone. |
Battery2
Consumption is really high, make sure to keep your phone plugged in when using this app. |
Price8
It's free but comes with banner and popup ads, aside from adverts to all sort of other applications. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 2.3 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It takes up a lot of resources and some of its features are a bit tacky, but it still fun to use.
