Horoscope and Tarot 4.8
Simplistic and a bit kitschy design
The app opens with a grid of all astrological signs. Once you've chosen yours, it opens another grid with all the features and further information on the developer and links for leaving feedback and reporting errors. While you're navigating through the app, you'll notice that the UI is sometimes non-responsive.
There are no instructions of use, so you'll have to figure out how the app works on your own. The interface may seem confusing at times, icons get rearranged as you type on several sections featured on the bottom of the screen.
Read your horoscope for the current year
In case you didn't know what your sign is, the app can help you with that, simply tap on the astro sign finder and type in your birthday. You can check your prediction for the day, week or month. Fill in a form and you can receive a detailed profile by email, for free.
The same predictions are available for your career, love life and financial situation. The celebrity match feature tells you if you'd be compatible with your favorite actor/actress and there's also a section for checking the compatibility with your loved one. Obviously, the information provided is just for entertainment purposes and you shouldn't base any decisions on them.
Let the oracle read your future
The magic ball feature supposedly helps you get answers to the questions that are bothering you. The mood ring is also a cute feature that functions on the same principle. There's also a love and fortune cookie section with random words of wisdom.
The tarot section allegedly reads your fortune based on tarot cards that you must tap on the screen. If you wish to get more information about your profile you can directly contact an astrologist, but of course you'll have to make a payment.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
Simplistic interface filled with kitschy background images, still they come in HD. |
Function8
The app performs well and it's filled with many features and functions. But it's missing a Chinese horoscope. |
Security7
For some reason it needs access to your location. You should think twice before making a payment for a reading. |
Battery6
It takes up quite a lot of power resources, so make sure you keep your phone plugged in. |
Price7
It comes with plenty of banner ads and some in-app purchases. |
Compatibility8
Should work just fine on devices running Android version 2.3 or later. |
