High-Speed Camera 3.1.1
Sleek interface and features
Many camera apps don't come with distinct interfaces and launch directly with filters over the camera mode. High-Speed Camera also does that, but has some settings and opens some small menus with options. The app also lacks a tutorial with instructions explaining how to operate the app and find shortcuts to features and settings.
The layout is well structured, leaving plenty of space on the screen for features and icons. Still, the app comes with banner and full screen ads which will surely annoy you especially since picking filters, adjusting images and snapping pictures is an activity that requires quite a lot of focus, which the ads take away. You may remove all ads for 1.09$.
Adjust the focus and image before snapping pictures
Despite the lack of instructions, users shouldn't have a hard time getting accustomed with this app. There's a bar on the bottom that lets you adjust brightness and image zoom, simply by sliding the switch to the right.
Automatic or manual focus can be enabled and the flash can be turned on with the tap of one icon. The app also comes with a number of filters that can be applied, including sepia, aqua and solarize. Almost all icons open with menus on the screen, which disappear after a couple of seconds, to not bother users with tapping the back button.
Snap multiple pictures with the tap of one button
The app works just fine in portrait and landscape modes. High-Speed Camera lets you take HD pictures with shutter sound. It also has a run timer and lets users freeze the screen. Animated GIFs can be created, users can adjust frame rates and share their creations on the web.
The app also comes with a button to switch front to rear cameras and the option of adjusting delay between high speed photos. Access to your device's camera is also granted and users may choose which pictures they wish to save to the device.
