The app guides you through a setup process so you can disable the system lock and enable notifications, for Hi Locker to be able to post the latest alerts you may receive on your phone.
When you're done with that, you can start customizing the app. It comes with the option of picking between some wallpapers and while they're all HD they aren't that many. You can also crop wallpapers to whichever size you wish.
You can also use pictures from your gallery to set as background images or have the app switch through wallpapers every couple of hours.You can also download wallpapers from the store. A side menu gives you access to all the sections inside the app, including to some suggestions of other applications that you may download on your phone.
Customize the app to your liking
The app lets you pick from two unlock styles, classic or Lollipop. Users can also pick from multiple unlocking styles, like a pin, pattern or password. Other than that, you can choose from several clock styles for your lock screen, as well as types of messages that are displayed when you tap on the power button.
You can change the font style, change the motto or the text shown on the screen. Hi Locker also provides you with the weather in your location, it lets you pick from temperature scales and set an update schedule.
Assign shortcuts on your screen
Moreover, the app comes with the option of assigning shortcuts to your lock screen so that you wouldn't have to type in the password to access your camera, dial pad or browser. It also lets you assign shortcuts to your favorite apps, but for only four of them.
Still, it's nice that it lets you decide which app icons would be featured on the lock screen. You can also have the app feature an unlock sound, blur the wallpaper when you have a new notification or brighten the screen when you receive something important.
