Fisheye Pro 1.20
Fisheye Pro is a really nice application that has lots of interesting features but it could still need some improvements.
Sleek UI with plenty of features at hand
The app doesn't come with a tutorial or any kind of instructions, which would have been useful to new users who aren't familiarized with its interface. It launches directly with the photo editor, there's no home page or separate section.
The UI is quite straightforward, it has a boring but functional design and some settings. You can change the color of the background, make it white, black or silver.
You can even add an extra border to the layout which actually covers all of your screen, including the notification bar in order to make way for banner ads on top of the screen.
Snap fisheye pictures
The camera mode has toolbars on top and bottom of the screen. You can use your front and end camera to snap pictures, Fisheye Pro comes with a timer and an icon for turning pictures into black/white. You can even pick one of the 28 templates in the photo booth section and snap multiple pictures.
One annoying thing about this app is that it doesn't provide users with the option of turning off camera sounds. It does however save all pictures in a separate gallery inside the app and lets you access them instantly.
Apply filters and share pictures
The app comes with multiple filters that you can apply in the camera mode, but unfortunately you can't apply them after pictures were taken, even if you load them from the gallery. Still, you can choose from 90 real-time vintage filters, all with monochrome option.
It also has 8 real-time fisheye camera lenses that you can apply on your camera. It has controls for applying random filters in the camera mode even before all pictures were taken.
After you've taken the pictures, they're saved in your gallery and you can share them easily inside the app. However, you can't pick the destination folder or the photo resolution. The app also has trouble working on certain phones.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface is a bit boring, despite the fact that it has three themes that you can choose from. |
Function8
It works just fine but it does have some functionality issues, like it doesn't let users apply filters on pictures that were already taken. |
Security9
It only needs access to areas of your phones that are connected to its features, so you don't have to worry about privacy issues. |
Battery6
Consumption is a bit high, so keep an eye on resources when using this app. |
Price7
It's filled with banner ads and the app doesn't offer users any option to remove them with an upgrade. |
Compatibility8
It should work on devices running Android version 4.0.3 or later, making the app available to many users. |
It's a nice app but it needs more features and some functionality improvements.
