EPIC FAIL 2.4.6
Epic Fail is one of those apps that can provide you with just that as it comes with an extensive gallery of photos for viewers to enjoy.
Dated UI that focuses mainly on content
It seems that when it comes to apps with funny pictures, there's one that has taken over all the competition and that is 9Gag. It has a nice interface and a large community of people that upload content and support it.
However, because of the many pictures it stores the UI becomes non-responsive at times. Therefore, apps that wish to compete against it must sport really nice interfaces that run smoothly. But Epic Fail doesn't.
The GUI is quite dated and offers nothing special compared to other similar apps on the market, aside from content of course.
Browse through all sorts of funny pictures
The app doesn't come with a menu, only a toolbar that lets you access sections inside the app. You can view recently added pictures, popular ones, random photos or favorited ones.
There's also the option of searching by tags or users to find content. Swipe the screen for more content and tap on a picture to open. The images don't initially open in high resolution, so that they load fast and don't take up too much bandwidth.
But you can view them in hi-res by simply typing an icon. You can also zoom in/out on pictures or download them to your device if you please.
Save pictures to your phone
All downloaded files are saved in a separate directory on your device, so you can access them whenever you wish. The app also lets you share pictures or add them to your favorites, but in order to do so you'll need to register with your Facebook profile or an email address.
Users can also comment on pictures and because the network is based mainly on support from users, they should also report the images that they think are inappropriate for the platform and its members. Epic Fail app is filled with banner ads which you can remove if you upgrade if you purchase the premium account for 0.92$.

Bottom Line
Design / UI7
The interface really needs some more work, as it seems a bit dated and boring with gray icons. |
Function8
It's a nice entertainment app that comes with some features but it fails to stand out from other similar ones. |
Security8
The app will access your location services for ad purposes, but it shouldn't pose any other privacy issues. |
Battery5
Consumption is really high, so keep an eye on resources while using this app because it has the potential of draining it. |
Price8
It's free but comes with banner ads, which you can remove if you upgrade for 0.92$. |
Compatibility8
The app should work just fine on devices running Android version 2.2 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
A nice and entertaining app that could use some more features and work.
