Diseases are arranged alphabetically by their medical term and commonly known names. You can also search them by typing in the name of the disease. The app provides summaries of each disease, descriptions and information on how the condition manifest itself, together with signs and symptoms for early detection.
There's also a whole section on causes, including biological and genetic predisposition. In addition, the app displays classification and treatment methods for the disease, together with instructions to help doctors analyze and diagnose patients that may be suffering from a certain illness. However, sections may differ according to disease but all contain a paragraph on content attribution and most of the information is from Wikipedia.
Boring GUI with few to no customization options
Obviously, content is king in this app and developers have really done their best to deliver detailed information on many diseases. However, some customization features would have been useful, together with themes and font size, to make it easier to read descriptions.
Also, there's no option to search for symptoms that may be attributed to certain diseases, which would help people get an idea of what they're suffering from. Another great feature would have been to divide diseases by categories, instead of just arranging them alphabetically. Still, one great thing about this app is that it works offline, being extremely useful for nurses, medical students, pharmacists and other professionals.
