Clone Camera 2.0 2.1
Clone Camera 2.0 is one of those apps that lets you create nice effects with your pictures so that you can share with friends on social networks. But you'll need some time to get used to the app as it provides little instructions and few tutorials to show you how to actually make amazing pictures.
Clean interface with many features
Fortunately the app doesn't need online registration or anything like that. But it also doesn't let you connect with your profiles on social networks, but has many links for liking the developer's accounts on Instagram or Twitter.
It has some settings that you can do to the interface, like the option to enable grids in the camera mode, sound, guides or high-quality camera. The app offers some tips for how to take pictures. You need to take at least 2 pictures and up to 4. You'll also need to keep the camera stable and keep one position while taking multiple shots.
Create amazing clone pictures
There are many nice things that you can do with the app, a whole section with tutorials shows you the many possibilities that the app offers. However, only one of the nine tutorials can be watched for free, the others must be unlocked in the premium version which costs 1.76$.
Still, you can give it a try. Snap pictures and enable the timer if you need it. You can also switch cameras on your phone, enable flash or retake pictures at any time.
Start editing by adding filters
In order to create the clone effect, you'll need to draw the outline of the targeted object for composition. The first picture is used as a reference and cannot be modified, but the next ones can.
You can use the eraser to wipe objects from the picture or the brush to draw over them. Pinch the screen to zoom on sensitive areas and have patience until the app manages to process images. You can then add filters, but don't expect anything extraordinary, they're just some simple color overlays.
There's also the option of adjusting the image by turning it left or right, or cropping it. When you're done the app will process images and output a clone picture that you can share on social networks or save to your device.

Bottom Line
Design / UI9
The interface is quite nice with lots of features and sections at hand, as well as easy-to-use. |
Function8
It works just fine but it may seem a bit confusing to new users who might need to take their time to get accustomed to the app. |
Security9
It shouldn't pose any privacy issues as it only needs access to areas of your that it actually uses. |
Battery6
Consumption is a bit high even for a photography app, so keep a charger nearby when using the app. |
Price7
It comes with annoying popup ads and users must pay 1.76$ in order to view tutorials, which is a bit much for some instructions. |
Compatibility8
It should work just fine on devices running Android version 3.0 or later, making it accessible to many users. |
It's a nice app that can create amazing pictures, but frankly users need clearler instructions than the ones provided inside the app.
